Haemodialysis Unit Manager

Job purpose
To provide operational management of clinical service at department level by whilst working with the medical administrative, financial teams. You will be expected to promote high standards of professional practice of quality care in accordance to corporate protocols, guidelines and ethical practices

Skills requirements:

• Effective clinical leadership and people management supported by excellent written and communication skills.
• Provide high quality patient care
• Strong financial management skill: staff, stock and staff performance management
• Talent management: staff skills mix, staff development and staff performance management

Qualifications & experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor in nursing or nursing administration degree diploma with a minimum of 5 years working experience.
• 3 years’ experience in a management position
• Experience in haemodialysis/ ICU or a relevant management qualification will be advantageous

Applicants for this position must have:

• Current registration with the Botswana nursing and midwifery council
• Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial and chain management principles
• Valid drivers’ license with flexibility to travel between treatment facilities
